The existing building is located within the housing and commercial development of Twin Rivers.  All residents have pedestrian access to the local facilities.  Expansions were made to the children’s and adult collections.  The addition included an extension to the support spaces for staff use, new meeting rooms with separate handicapped toilets and an exterior access to an enclosed activity room.  The confines of the site dedicated the expansion to the east of the building, which caused the reconfiguration of the entire interior space to satisfy the needs for the adult and children’s expansions.
