FIRING RANGE FEASIBILITY STUDY

Our professionals reviewed all existing documentations and surveys; our tasks began by coordinating site visits with Range personnel.  The new survey data established all proposed shooting line positions.  From that information we prepared the geometry necessary to establish the SDZ’s for the proposed range work and how this may affect adjacent existing range functions. Diagramming the potential overlap of SDZ areas established recommendations for improvements and feasibility not only for ranges 2 and 5 but as well the impact on ranges 3 and 4. We also assisted the range development team in researching potential UXO’s and MEC’s.   All of our recommendations offered potential budgetary costs for improvements or further study activities.

NJDMAVA is continuing to evaluate which range option to act upon based on data provided by the study team.
