Wells Fargo Bank

Yardley, PA

Formerly the Yardley Savings and Loan Bank this project was started from the ground up.  The “Penn’s Woods” trees and the historic character were the primary criteria in designing this building.  The 3’ diameter oak trees were surveyed and the bank situated to insure the trees would be protected.  Because the building was adjacent to residential neighborhoods a high one-story Victorian bank was designed using the porch and pseudo porches to keep the Victorian character.   To maintain green and trees around the building, the auto drive up area was remotely located from the main building.  A brick walk fronts Main Street giving the bank its pedestrian character.
